ACTIVITIES
As an R&D Engineer you will develop our electrical/electronical parts, components and you will play an important role in our product development team. Your innovation meets the needs of tomorrow’s customers
You define hardware requirements derived from the system design, design PCBs, cabling and accessories, design and perform internal tests and communicate with suppliers
You are also responsible for your contribution to the R&D projects for which you develop new possibilities from concept phase market entry. This shall also be together with the cross-functional DURAG team in Hamburg providing also standards in engineering methodologie, project management and product management
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical / Electronical Engineering
Experience with circuit design and PCB layout – with respect to EMC, extra low, low and high voltage handling
Experience with regulations for proper and safe handling of low and high voltages like EN61010 and EN60730
Preferably expertise in spark plugs / electrical ignition systems
Confident with electronics and electrical design systems (e.g. Pulsonix, EPLAN), requirements management (e.g. Polarion)
Microsoft 365 Experience in the use of ERP and DMS systems, preferably SAP
Knowledge CE/CSA/UL certification processes
Good team player and communication skills
Curious and focused on challenging goals
Dutch and English spoken and written
