In this challenging role, you are responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding the customer portfolio within areas such as airline catering. You play a crucial role in further positioning high-quality convenience products with airlines worldwide.

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you work closely with various departments within the organization and act as a link between customer needs and creating new innovations. You identify new market opportunities, develop acquisition plans, and manage relationships with existing and new customers. Through your strategic vision and commercial skills, you strengthen the position in the airline market and realize growth.   • Identify and pursue new international (global) opportunities within the airline, cruise ship, railway, and duty-free industries.
  • Develop and implement acquisition plans focused on airlines worldwide.
  • Strongly develop new customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to successfully meet customer needs.
  • Analyze and track trends and developments in the aviation sector.


  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s or University degree.
  • At least 7 years of relevant commercial experience within the food or beverage industry, specifically focused on airlines, cruise ships, railways, or duty-free.
  • Excellent command of the English language or Dutch language, both spoken and written.
  • Proven track record (tender processes) focused on the airline industry.
  • Conceptually strong and innovative for and towards customers.
  • Result-oriented, entrepreneurial, and hands-on mentality.
  • Working partially remote is possible (at least 4 times a month in the office)
