This is the role

As a Lead Product Developer, you will play a key role in the development and lifecycle management of the Medido product. You will oversee the integration of new hardware in the production processes to ensure continuous product performance increase and efficient manufacturing.

Working closely with embedded developers, product developers, and supply chain, you will ensure the smooth transition from product design to mass production, maintaining high-quality standards while optimizing for performance, scalability, and efficiency.

These are the responsibilities

  1. Contribute to both technical development and operational efficiency by managing the product Bill of Materials (BoM) and maintaining documentation for all product iterations, ensuring traceability and version control.
  2. Develop and maintain production manuals, define End-of-Line testing to validate product performance before deployment.
  3. Act as an interface between quality, supply chain, logistics, and both internal and external production partners.
  4. Implement configuration management strategies to maintain consistency across product versions and production batches.

This is you

  • You have 5+ years of experience in product development;
  • Strong knowledge of hardware design in plastics, production techniques, and manufacturing processes;
  • Experience with BOM management and configuration control;
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes and logistics coordination;
  • Hands-on experience with production data management, testing procedures, and production tooling;
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
