Junior Privacy Consultant – Pride Company – Zoetermeer

Pride Company

As a Junior Privacy Consultant you can expect versatile work weeks. No two days are the same! You will support organisations with a range of privacy-related issues, such as creating privacy awareness among employees, educating them on how to handle data breaches, and conducting privacy risk assessments (DPIAs) and audits. Naturally, you will monitor the frameworks of the AVG. As the need for an active privacy policy becomes more and more apparent to the organisations you will deal with, you will be glad to assist and advise them on it.

Your tasks will include:

  • Performing maturity scans and drawing up improvement programs to take your clients’ privacy governance to the next level;
  • Providing insight into risks and improvement measures in the field of privacy within business processes, by facilitating risk sessions such as a DPIA;
  • Writing privacy policies, business advice and giving clients ad hoc guidance on all privacy- and/or information security-related matters;
  • Supporting clients in conducting privacy audits, such as the Wpg audit;
  • Keeping in touch with your clients to stay informed about their needs;
  • If it suits your interests and development points, your responsibilities may also include providing training and education.
  • You have an HBO or WO degree in the field of Law, ICT, Business or, organisational science (or similar);
  • You have a strong affinity with privacy and information security. You are also up-to date with current developments in IT, such as in the field of Artificial Intelligence, algorithms, privacy enhancing technologies and smart cities;
  • You have strong communication skills in the Dutch language;
  • You enjoy contributing to challenging, socially relevant assignments and issues, both independently and as part of a team;
  • You are flexible and don’t mind being on the road for clients, or occasionally holding meetings in the evening (don’t worry, good food and drinks are always provided!)
  • You are proactive and independent. This does not mean that you already know or can do everything, but rather that you ask for help and indicate what you need;
  • You find it fun and challenging to work on multiple assignments at the same time and can therefore work in a structured way. Even though every day is different, you keep the overview.
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes a competitive salary, a variable remuneration scheme, mobility budget or lease car and 28 vacation days;
  • A dynamic role where you can fulfil different roles in diverse and oftentimes complex projects for multiple clients. No two days are the same!
  • A position where you will get to work at and for renowned clients within government, municipalities, provinces, healthcare, social services and (secondary) education;
  • The opportunity to continue developing yourself and others.
