Computed Tomography and Interventional X-Ray
We are seeking a highly qualified Medical Physicist to join our team. You will collaborate with development teams and clinical institutions to evaluate, test, and analyze CT imaging technologies. Your role includes supporting pre-sales and after-sales processes, validating new technologies, and maximizing study outcomes for Canon Medical and users. Building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and staying updated on scientific advancements are essential.
The Clinical Scientist has responsibility for overall engagements related to clinical research and engineering in CT and Interventional X-Ray with a primary focus in the Computed Tomography imaging domain.
What will you do?
Collaborate with Canon Medical development teams and clinical institutions to evaluate, test, analyze, and deliver on development questions.
(Physics) Support in the Pre-sales and after-sales process.
Collaborate with internal teams and external clinical partners to validate and implement new CT imaging technologies.
Maximize the outcome of a study to the benefit of both Canon Medical and the user.
Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the medical imaging field.
Keeping scientifically updated on individual topics.
What do you bring?
(or equivalent) completed or in progress in Medical Physics discipline or related area.
Excellent and proven understanding of Computed Tomography and Interventional X-Ray technology, industry direction, and competitive environment.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills to liaise with clinical and technical teams.
Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset, capable of multi-tasking and managing projects.
Hands-on experience with Computed Tomography and/or Interventional X-Ray products, including evaluation, testing, and clinical applications.
Professional sparring partner for Canon Medical Key Opinion Leaders.
Experience working with a radiology department.
Preferably experience working in a medical device company.
Note: preferred candidate is based in The Netherlands.
